Thomas MacMillan serves as EmblemHealth’s Chief Operating Officer where he oversees all areas of information technology, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, and business operations. As a member of the senior executive team, Mr. MacMillan plays a central role in driving the organization’s digital and operational transformation.
With nearly 25 years of experience across the payer-provider landscape, Mr. MacMillan brings seasoned expertise in health system operations, value-based care design, technology strategy, automation, and artificial intelligence. His leadership has consistently delivered innovation at scale, aligning clinical and operational functions to improve outcomes, streamline processes, and deliver exceptional experiences for both members and providers.
Prior to joining EmblemHealth, Mr. MacMillan held leadership roles in large hospitals and consulting organizations. He attended James Madison University in Virginia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science.
